Princess Theodora, also known lovingly as "Thea" was the daughter of King Rossleigh and his wife Teryna Rowan. Her disappearance is what caused the conflict between the orcs and the humans due to the belief that she was kidnapped.
Description
Appearance
Theodora was said to not carry the ugly, brutish features of her father nor the pinched and prickly appearance of her mother. Her face was always described as 'soft and comforting' and she hardly frowned. Like most Drakonian nobility, she has bushy brows and thick deep black hair.
Personality
"When Theodora entered a room, she did not claim the attention of young boys and the spite of young girls. Truthfully said, she claimed none at all. She kept to herself and I like to believe she rather liked it that way."

While most noble girls of sixteen were preparing to be wed to some sire from across the way, Theodora remained diligent that she had no intentions of doing so. She was remarkably quiet, only speaking when spoken to and avoiding tension through any means possible. The domestic pressures between Teryna and Rossleigh had a negative effect on her development, causing intense disassociation and illusions of grandeur. The manipulative nature of her mother and dangerous lifestyle of her father attributed to her showing signs of mental illness, namely dissociative identity disorder.
Biography
Backstory
Teryna Rowan and Rossleigh often described Theodora as a "miracle baby" following multiple miscarriages. When the courts suggested they rid of her due to the unlikeliness of her ever claiming the Drakonian throne due to the fact she was a girl, Teryna and Rossleigh refused. Her birth marked a gracious day among the city of Kingsrun and thousands gathered to see her birth.
In her childhood, Theodora suffered from abuse by her nursemaids. When she would cry, they would often lock her in a closet for hours on end until she was quiet. This lead to Theodora being mute from ages five to twelve. She was often described as "not all there" and would often mutter to herself but never to others. Her parents, discouraged and defeated by her lack of development installed her into a small chantry schooling sect. It is here Theodora learned to speak again, albeit less than other children. She finished her schooling at age fifteen and was chosen to be sent as a Sister on a mission to the Order of Clerics in the Gamordan Mountains to spread the word of the Mother. It is around this time Teryna discovered Rossleigh's infidelity and began taking it out on her daughter. The Sisters' of the chantry had to convince Teryna and Rossleigh to allow Theodora on the trip. They came to agreement after Constantine, the local religious leader and head of the chantry promised she would be in good care. She was often allowed to leave for tea parties among other noble girls of the kingdom, including Vahlia Isyn (formerly known as Vahlia Fox).
Prior to her departure, she was betrothed to Lann Marches. The arrangement was seen as erroneous and in noble gossip, they said that they looked too much like 'brother and sister' to be husband and wife. Regardless, her parents insisted.
Weeks later, the group made their exit from Kingsrun and towards the mountains. During this time, a force unknown (but assumed to be orcs) intercepted the caravan and killed nearly the entire group. It is unknown if Theodora lives or was killed among the other sisters.
This caused Rossleigh to lash out, demanding slavers begin an intensive raid which would dismantle entire orcish communities in a desperate vehement act for vengeance. Garothmuk, angered by his accord, took several dreadnoughts around the course of Meryndan towards Farshore and Waynevalley with the assistance of an unknown source full of warriors and wildfire in determination to finally rid of the human kingdom for once and for all. This lead to the Orc Uprising also known as the Trail of Tears. Unbeknownst to The Wild Hunt, it is Theodora's disappearance that caused the beginning of their entire adventure...
