Religion
Lusin and Livone is a ditheistic religion on Arthos that had decreased in popularity since the inception of the telescope. Some still do, but on on a much smaller capacity. The only remnants of those who believe in this religion are some monks on Alpos, and the Serpent Isles where many of the Yuan-Ti still worship the moons as their true gods.
There has been much debate within the religion whether or not Lusin and Livone are brother and sister, or lovers. This has led to different sects of the religion to fight and quarrel with each other over their interpretation of the religions scriptures and stories from before the Arthonean cleansing.
Lusin
Lusin is often described as male, and the god of the ocean, death, and shadow. Due to Lusin's size in the sky, many interpret Lusin as a protector of Livone especially due to the fact that Livone hides behind Lusin in the Solar Diclipse. Lusin's domains include Death, War, Tempest, and Knowledge.
Livone
Livone is often described as female, and the goddess of fertility, nature, and light. Astronomers who discovered the scientific data that potentially proves Livone to be larger than Lusin in actuality, has made believers in Lusin and Livone upset. However, as their numbers dwindle, the more people believe the mathematical discoveries of astronomers. Livone's domains are Life, Light, Nature, Trickery.
Moons
Lusin and Livone are the two moons that orbit Arthos.

Astronomers have argued Lusin is closest, but no the largest due to it's distance from the planet. Philosophers and other scholars make claim that it is the largest and the two are close to the same distance of each other. While the debate has not come to a consensus, it matters little since everyone agrees Lusin is the closest regardless, since during the Solar Diclipse Livone, goes behind Lusin.

The moon also has a white spot on it. Some observers call it a jewel in the sky, describing it as the more beautiful of the two and referring to it as a diamond in the sky in literature.
