The Machina are a synthetic race that was created by [[The Architects]] until there was a war in 112 that whiped the Machina off the planet. It was the bloodiest of the two wars Pomfae had ever fought by a large margin because it was from inside the city. They were designed to be self learning sentient helpers that would improve their quality of life and maintain their city. The Machina begin to question authority and attempted to overthrow [[The Architects]], succesfully killing one of them, [[]]. They were exterminated by powers from [[The Source]] and [[The Architects]] vowed to never create a sentient being for servitude. They continued to make other useful magical constructs but nothing sentient and able to think for itself.

Skin covers their whole body, and varies from a dark black to a pale pink in hue, and their body types and facial features are just as variant. Eyes can appear in a wide range of colors, and can appear with epicanthic folds just as they can appear with deepset eyes. However, their appearance can usually indicate their place of origin more easily than other races, as the factors that determines their appearance are extremely hereditary in nature.

Ralo Drennak was raised in a chaotic life in [[Kingdom of Dimelivon|Dimelivon]], a life of indignity and poverty. In his home as he grew, his father often illegally poached and eventually raised Ralo to aid him, ingraining a high skill in marksmanship and an eye for small detail. As Ralo reached adulthood, he left his family behind in order to wipe his name clean and pursue a life that obeyed the law, finding work as a sellsword.

Ralo was hired by [[Kingdom of Dimelivon|Dimelivon's]] royal consul to escort [[Jordel Merricksson]] to [[Reovere]], the [[Shipwrecked|journey of which]] went about as poorly as Ralo could bear to accept payment for.

[[Jordel Merricksson]] : A member of [[Kingdom of Dimelivon|Dimelivon's]] royal consul that Ralo was hired to protect. Ralo did all he could to do perform his job, despite the difficulties survived. 
[[Richard Miller]] : A survivor of the ship [[Jordel Merricksson|Jordel]] and Ralo sailed on. Travelled to [[Veritas]] with the two before eventually leaving on his own. 
[[Slackjaw]] : A crew member and survivor of the ship [[Jordel Merricksson|Jordel]] and Ralo sailed on. Slackjaw and Ralo worked together to defend the other two, despite their differences. As the only living crew of the unlawfully sunk private vessel, [[Jordel Merricksson|Jordel]] negotiated for Slackjaw to be awarded a replacement caravel.

A cynical kobold who was raised as a noble in a kobold-run underground society. Generally weak and of poor health. The Kell household rose their way into leadership by portraying themselves as a family blessed with great command of magical forces, but in reality is a family of rogues, thieves, assassins, and cheats. When the kobolds demanded the Kell household use their magical forces to conquer the world as promised, Enden drew the short stick and was forced to leave the warren as a diplomat of "the world's impending destruction." Emboldened by his hatred for humans as well as his egotistical background, Enden left in stride before being kidnapped by a human slave driver, following a few days of travel.

After being rescued by a human bounty hunter, [[Ricketts]], Enden and the other prisoners [[Weylis]] and [[Oldin]] continued onward to hunt down and assist [[Ricketts]] in claiming the bounty on the slave driver. After this adventure, Enden's perspective on the roles humans can play in his life was changed, and he offered to join [[Ricketts]] as a partner, to which he agreed.

== Background ==

A cynical kobold who was raised as a noble in a kobold-run underground society. Generally weak and of poor health. The Kell household rose their way into leadership by portraying themselves as a family blessed with great command of magical forces, but in reality is a family of rogues, thieves, assassins, and cheats. When the kobolds demanded the Kell household use their magical forces to conquer the world as promised, Enden drew the short stick and was forced to leave the warren as a diplomat of "the world's impending destruction." Emboldened by his hatred for humans as well as his egotistical background, Enden left in stride before being kidnapped by a human slave driver, following a few days of travel.

After being rescued by a human bounty hunter, [[Ricketts]], Enden and the other prisoners [[Weylis]] and [[Oldin]] continued onward to hunt down and assist [[Ricketts]] in claiming the bounty on the slave driver. After this adventure, Enden's perspective on the roles humans can play in his life was changed, and he offered to join [[Ricketts]] as a partner, to which he agreed.

Was last seen leaving a cave with a bounty hunter, satyr, and djin. The cave was then found to contain the dead body of a man, remnants of a large fire, and the dead bodies of a few animals. The man's face was unrecognizable.

[[Weylis]] : Satyr bard, carrying a sitar, also a victim with Enden. Weylis left alongside Ricketts and Enden, but did not plan on staying with them long. 
[[Oldin]] : A Djin who was captured by a slave driver alongside Enden, despite his immense hatred of anything of anything reptilian. 
[[Ricketts]] : A human bounty hunter who freed Enden, Oldin, and Weylis and enlisted their aid in hunting down his target -- the slave driver. Recruited Enden as a business partner following the events of [[Abducted]].
