Aln is the given name of the star that Arthos orbits, and the solar system. It contains 6 planets known to Arthonean astronomers. The system is known to have a purple colored nebula surrounding the system that philosophers and astronomers alike have argued over its significance, though most believe it to have no effect.

Star

Aln is a white dwarf star that around it's edges radiates a blue hue. When refracting off the atmosphere of Arthos during sunset, it makes the sky a pink and purple color as opposed to red and orange with a yellow dwarf star. The sun appears particularly small from Arthos due to it's farther distance, also attributing to more common solar eclipses as it's easier for the moons Lusin or Livone to eclipse sun in the Arthonean sky.

Planets

Gan

A partial anagram Geiana, the Parathist goddess of decay and restoration. The closest planet known to the sun Aln, and predicted to be a rock planet with a boiling surface of lava and magma. Some believe this is where the demons ethereal beings rest before coming to Arthos to cause chaos and commit evil acts. It is believed in multiple religions that this is where evil men are sent in the afterlife to burn for eternity.

Arthos

The planet itself that you know and reside on, named after the old god Arthon who is mostly shrouded in mystery except for some scriptures claiming that the Finmae'ens worshiped or believed in this name as either a leader or a deity. It has an estimated circumference of 15,000km which is 10,000km less than Earth. Arthos has a small ring of asteroids created from the Arthonean Cleansing. The planet experiences meteor showers constantly but since the The Source landed on Arthos, the meteors rarely get through the atmosphere, and those that do usually are composed of rare metal or crystal that make them extremely valuable.

Ronus

A partial anagram for Chryonus the Parathist god of wealth and poverty. The planet is predicted to be the closest planet to Arthos. When the Arthos passes Ronus due to the Arthonean orbit around Aln being faster, astronomers hastily gather as much data as they can before one of the moons obscures the view of Ronus, or it starts to exits a range that astronomers can examine its surface. Some philosophers suggest that Ronus could potentially have life on it like Arthos, but many find that to be a pointless and fantastical prediction.

Thia

Partial anagram of Tychia the Parathist god of luck and misfortune, originating from the fact that the planet was found by mistake while Astronomers were looking to examine Rine with a new telescope made from Ignite crystals from the desert. There has been much debate as to whether or not the planet may be suitable for life. This type of discussion has been a large part of philosopher studies ever since the Arthonean Cleansing, people have been discussing ideas of leaving Arthos or ways to escape it if another calamity like the cleansing where to happen again. Ultimately Thia is one such planet that some presume to be a candidate for such environments. However, similar to Ronus many people find it to be a pointless discussion.

Rine

Partial anagram of Rinemos the Parathist god of peace and conquest, predicted to be the largest planet in the system, a gas giant that is a quarter the size of Aln itself. Not much is known about this planet besides that it's very big, much farther away than Thia, and is home to a massive set of rings similar to Saturn.

Mori

Partial anagram of Mopori the Parathist goddess of pain and pleasure, an icy rock planet on the edge of the system, relatively large, at least enough to see from a telescope for astronomers to notice.
